1. Who we are
AetherForge is an independent, self-funded early-stage project based in Japan, operated by an individual founder based in Japan. It is not a registered company. For privacy questions, contact contact@aetherforge.bond.
2. What we collect
At this stage the website is an informational landing page with a waitlist. We collect:
- Contact & waitlist details — the email address and any information you voluntarily include when you email us (for example, to join the waitlist).
- Basic technical data — standard server/CDN logs generated by our hosting provider when you visit the site (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested), used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not currently operate user accounts, process payments, or run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to you and to contact you about early access if you join the waitlist.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to run the site and email, who process data on our behalf:
- GitHub Pages — website hosting and content delivery.
- ImprovMX — email forwarding for our
@aetherforge.bondaddress. - As the product develops, we expect to use cloud infrastructure providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data processing, backtesting, and application hosting. This policy will be updated before any user data is processed on such infrastructure.
5. International transfers
Our providers may store and process data on servers located outside Japan. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers.
6. Retention
We keep waitlist and contact information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete it on request or when it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, "APPI"), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may ask us to stop contacting you at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@aetherforge.bond.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect personal data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
AetherForge is not directed to, and is not intended for, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
